Tool Tip Manager™ Support

Debug Output

Debug output is controlled using the Advanced tab on the properties dialog.

When you check the Enable debug mode box, Tool Tip Manager™ will output debug messages that may be viewed using the free DebugView utility. Click here to download DebugView.

Checking the Write debug messages to log file box will cause the debug messages to be also be written to a log file. If you also check the Overwrite previous log box, any previous log will be replaced by the new log.

Unchecking the Write debug messages to log file box will cause the log file to be closed and stop new messages from being written to the log; however, debug messages will continue to be output as long as Enable debug mode box is checked

Error reading from file

To circumvent this problem, simply copy ToolTipMgr.msi to a folder on a local drive such as the desktop or c:\ and then run the setup program from the new location.
